Supporting Your Home Environment
Creating a safe, welcoming and well-prepared environment is essential.
We provide guidance and support to help you set up and maintain a home environment that meets regulatory requirements and reflects quality practice.
Regular Support Visits
Our coordinators visit regularly to provide ongoing support, mentoring and guidance.
These visits are an opportunity to:

Becoming an Educator with Montessori Kids FDC
A genuine passion for working with children is the foundation of a great educator. From there, we look for individuals who are committed to providing safe, high-quality care and are eager to grow in their professional practice.
To join our community, you will need:

A minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, along with current:

First Aid

Asthma Management

Anaphylaxis Training

A sound understanding of, and commitment to working in line with:

Education and Care Services Regulations

The Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics

Child Safe Standards
-

The ability to create a positive, inclusive and engaging environment that supports the diverse needs of children aged 0–12 years

A strong focus on maintaining a safe, hygienic and well-prepared home environment

A willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement

Commitment to upholding all Montessori Kids FDC policies, procedures and quality expectations
-
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build respectful, trusting relationships with children and families

The confidence to work independently, while also being an active and collaborative part of a supportive team
-
The ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies and unexpected situations
-
Basic numeracy and organisational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation
-
Current Police Check and Working with Children Check for all household members aged 18 years and over
-
An understanding of Montessori principles (highly regarded, but not essential)
